Gorgeous, right? And no, that’s not some random photo – this was provided by our very own Puget Sound Express and was taken this past week as they have been observing a “Superpod” of Orcas. (Remember to sign up for your whale-watching tours through us and get your free blueberry buckle onboard!)
How did you spend this month that flew by so quickly???
Our guests aren’t the only ones who get to travel… well, this month at least! We were fortunate to attend a Board meeting for the Washington Independent Innkeepers Network (WIIN – we’ve been active with them since before we opened!) that was held at a fellow member inn in Wenatchee – and even in March, it is stunning! We also hit the road for a couple of roller derby trips to Phoenix, AZ and Victoria, British Columbia – getting our travel in before our peak season here!
We also managed to sneak in some time with friends, including some that just moved to the area (yay!). One of our go-to places is Finnriver, and we love to see them publicized, so it’s especially nice when we see them written up in the blog put out by our own organization – isn’t it great when your interests mesh? Check out the entry here about great cideries in the region (and yes, that’s our picture just below (and a swipe to the left for our friends on mobile!).
We found this sign while walking in Victoria… and it really gets the point across! Yes, we’re all busy… and there’s always so much to do! But don’t forget to stop and appreciate the beautiful things around you. We’ll leave you with one more pretty picture from Victoria…
