Now is the time for the Pacific Northwest to really shine!

Humpbacks and orcas and gray whales oh my!!!

Check out these pictures that our friends at Puget Sound Express were kind enough to share!    They have had great sightings of mom BCZ0414 Zephyr and her calf, the T137 killer whale family, and the last of the gray whales before they continue their migration up to Alaska.

Remember that you can book your cruises with PSE through us and receive a complimentary yummy warm blueberry buckle during your cruise – and we’ll make sure your gourmet breakfast is served in plenty of time to get underway!

Goat Update!

We’ve been keeping up to date on our friends over at the Smythshire, and we’re happy to report they have had at least four new baby goats in the past week!  Those babies will be ready for cuddle sessions in early July (the picture above is their March babies, so they are a little bigger now!) so get ready to book goat yoga and farm tours!

Text that reads "Olympic Culinary Loop" with logo for the organization with subtext that reads "Eat your Way Around the LOOP!"

Have you heard?

The folks behind the Olympic Culinary Loop have put together a great listing of many of our favorite foodie places in one convenient website and brochure.  Now you can plan your culinary adventures before you arrive (although we’re still happy to make recommendations of course!) and you can even search by location, type of food, or keyword.  Restaurants closest to us are listed in the “Northeast” section of the brochure.

White brand clothes steam press perched open on a cement kitchen island

It's the little things....

If you’ve stayed with us, you know we take the details seriously… like ironing pillowcases and napkins.  And while we will always do the little things to improve the guest experience, we are open to doing those things in the most efficient manner possible.  With that in mind, we welcomed a White Steamer into the family this month.  It has changed the ironing routine drastically (and all for the better!).  Where has this genius invention been all of our (B&B) lives???

Deer Update

It seems only fitting to close with a (deer) baby update of our own!  We estimate the twin fawns were about five weeks old in the above picture.  They may be twins, but they have distinct personalities!  One is the daredevil, and one sticks much closer to mom.  They both keep mom fully occupied!  They don’t come around every day, but we very much enjoy when they do!
